APPEL A PARTICIPATION

On thursday 17 November, "Goals & Objectives" artists, in transit in Paris for a series of events, come visit tmp/lab hackerspace. GOALS & OBJECTIVES brings together artworks and artistic approaches that are redefining the public space on its own ground. By diversion or creation of objects, the artists aim to question our relationship to the city and to urbanism, transforming reality experienced as a fiction." The various practices of these artists come close to - and sometimes merge with - those of hackers, programmers present in hackerspaces. In each, technical and technological issues/goals materialize unexpectedly, by foiling codes, by looking for the flaw. Public space is often inspirational for each, suitable for play, a field of experimentation open to manufactured, ephemeral or perennial actions which intrude these daily spaces.

So as to engage a dialogue on these technical / artistic / political issues, we invite you to join us, to tell us about your actions, diversions, urban interventions, and to present us all kinds of clever, disturbing fabrications, as you are - or not - the author. Distant interventions possible during the evening.
